By creating an account, paying a platform fee, or using Merishop at merishop.online, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service description

Merishop provides digital tools for merchants to publish an online storefront, manage products/orders, and share shop links / QR pages. We charge merchants for platform access (setup, annual renewal, and optional add-ons).

2. Account eligibility

You must be 18+ and authorized to act for the business you register.
You must provide accurate business, contact, and payment details.
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Fees and payments

Current platform fees (Indian Rupees, inclusive amounts include 18% GST):

Setup: ₹5000 + ₹900 GST = ₹5900 (includes first year of storefront access when successfully paid)
Annual renewal: ₹999 + ₹180 GST = ₹1179/year
WhatsApp Engage (optional): ₹1000 + ₹180 GST = ₹1180/month

Platform fees are paid online via Razorpay. Prices may change; the amount shown at checkout is binding for that transaction. See Pricing for the live list.

4. Merchant responsibilities

You are solely responsible for products, pricing, stock, taxes on your sales, delivery/pickup to your customers, and customer support for shop orders.
Customer payments on your storefront (e.g. UPI to your ID / pay later) are between you and your customer.
You must not list illegal, prohibited, or fraudulent goods/services, or misuse the platform for spam or abuse.

5. Intellectual property

The Merishop software, branding, and documentation remain our property. You retain ownership of your shop content (logos, product photos, copy) and grant us a limited license to host and display it to operate your storefront.

6. Availability & suspension

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or violation of these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Namah / Merishop is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform, third-party payment rails, or merchant–customer transactions. Our aggregate liability for platform fees in a dispute is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
